In our film, instead of using swans to create contrast between love and lost, we also made use of the energy of children. As you can see from the picture above, George was standing on the left, walking towards the riverside. He was wearing all black, and when he walked pass the camera,people can see his facial expression and he looked sad and depressed. However, on the right, we can see children playing happily, having fun and laughing. It shows a very strong contrast here, and it reminds him of something that he can never get back in his life, love and joy.
